An awards night to remember!

The Twisters took to the dance floor on Saturday 9 July after a gap of three years due to the unmentionable. This was our busiest awards evening to date with 275 happy guests (well, the majority were happy) who put on their finest, drank and celebrated the clubs survival and successes (well, most did) and paid tribute to coaches, athletes and families.

Our first time at the Holiday Inn and most agreed it was a great new venue for us. The food was the best yet, when it arrived, and the partying was hard, when we finally finished giving out awards. Lessons learned and the venue will be ready for us next year!

Thanks to the staff at the Holiday Inn, Justin the DJ and our old friend Mr Brightside. Thanks to Ruth and Sarah who squeezed this event into their busy schedule and made it all possible. A specail shout out to the athletes and families who created the atmosphere. You all rock!
