2022-23 Season Try Outs

Well that was a busy one! Another bigger and better moment for the VT's as we welcomed over 200 athletes to The Base to try out for the 2022-23 season.

It's fair to say that the profile of the club rose to new levels after the successes at Worlds and Summit in April. Social media went crazy and encouraged lots of new faces to come and give cheer a try. 

As always, with a new season, the pack gets shuffled. We lose a few who have new life challenges to tackle. Some retire and move on, some retire and 2 weeks later un-retire themselves. Removing tearful social media posts as they 'have a drink and go again'. All part of the cheer experience.

New squads have been created, hello to Fury, Heat and MIss Twist. Nitro has taken a break. Some squad names have done thier time. A fond farewell to Blaze and Inferno, our longest serving squad names with mulitple national and Grand Champ titles. VT has more athetes than ever, UK cheer is at its strongest ever, and the competition will be fierce accross all levels. Cheer is highly competitive but so is the sportsmanship. We look forward to battling it out with the clubs we have made friends with along they way.... Can We Keep Up .... Can They?
